6mo checkup

Our sweet little guy has the funniest stats. He weighed in at 17lbs 3oz and was 24 3/4in long. which put him at 50% on weight, 5% on height, and 45% on head size! So he's more average on weight this time, lower on height and jumped up on head size. He had to get 3 shots and one oral vaccine. He did great with the shots this time. Cried of course during the actual shots, but was over it shortly after Daddy picked him up! I had planned to nurse him for comfort like last time but he didn't even need it. We just waited until his next regular feeding. He did give the doc the puckered-up face and a little crying like he does with most men right now. Doc did most of the rest of the exam either with Jack holding baby or with Jack right there next to him. That seemed to work fine and keep him content. The mirror mounted on the wall by the table was definitely his favorite part of the checkup. He played on his tummy staring & banging on the mirror, such a cutie.
